CYP 19 and CYP 51 inhibition assays.

Do you need to check if your compound is a potential endocrine disruptor?

For example, antifungal CYP51 (lanosterol 14α-demethylase) inhibitors can also inhibit human CYP 51 and CYP19 (aromatase), an unwanted side effect that may cause estrogen biosynthesis reduction and endocrine disruption. CXR now offers in vitro assays to assess whether your compound inhibits human CYP19 or CYP51.

If you would like further information on these assays, please contact CXR at info@cxrbiosciences.com or phone +44 (0) 1382 432 163.
